With the upcoming 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo taking place in June 2015, the Firing Line is delighted to have contributed to the Waterloo 200 Commission that is showcasing 200 national treasures reflecting this history.
The Firing Line Museum houses many objects relating to the Napoleonic Wars – some of these have been photographed and are featured on the Waterloo 200 website.
One of the objects featured is a powder horn with detailed and scrimshawed engraving commemorating the defeat of the French in Pembroke, 1797.
