Make Your Own Den
Its week two of the firing line half term activities and the weather isn’t up to much 🙁
This week we are looking at fun indoor activities to beat the boredom and the awful weather at the same time!
So without further ado, this week we will be making DENS!! The beauty about this task is that you can use just about anything you can find in the house and can be as elaborate or basic as you like. The best part about it is once its ready, you can use it for just about anything either! So, some examples can be for games of hide and seek, for having fun picnics or my favourite… napping! If you have siblings or other people in the house with you, you can even have competitions to see who can make the best one!
To make a basic den you will need the following:
- Blankets or bed sheets
- Sturdy furniture to hold up the blankets e.g. a sofa, chairs, toy boxes or slides etc
Method:
- Its as easy as draping the sheets etc over the furniture, which will hold it up like a tent. Its up to you how basic or as fancy you make it! 😊
Here are some examples!
As always, we would love to see what you come up with so please feel free to share your creations with us across our social channels. We look forward to seeing your work!
Don’t forget you can…
