Volunteers
Interested in Volunteering at the Firing Line?
Are you looking for a unique voluntary experience?
Whether you’re a young person looking for a work experience opportunity, a university student looking for some practical experience or retired with time on your hands….the Firing Line Museum has opportunities for everybody.
The museum warmly welcomes Reservists, Veterans and former servicemen and all those related to the Armed Forces as volunteers.
There is no typical day as a volunteer at the museum. From engaging with the public and delivering talks, dressing up in period military uniforms, helping digitise archival collections or assisting with educational activities; volunteering at the museum offers something unique for everybody.
If you are interested in volunteering and becoming part of a friendly team, please complete the application form and contact our Curator Major Mark Evans at: curator@cardiffcastlemuseum.org.uk to arrange an interview.
