Africa Star Medal

Miniature Medal: Africa Star. Awarded for one or more days´ service in North Africa between 10th June 1940 and 12th May 1943. Royal Navy personnel qualified with any service at sea in the Mediterranean within those dates and in the support of campaigns in Abyssinia, Somaliland and Eritrea. Naval service ashore in the same areas as the also qualified as did members of the Merchant Navy in the operations off the coast of Morocco between the 8th November 1942 and 12th May 1943.
