– 7.30 pm, Sunday 9th May 2021 –
Location: Zoom online (https://zoom.us)
The first in our brand new lecture series is presented by General Sir Simon Mayall. Author of Soldier in the Sand (2020), Sir Simon will be discussing his career and his personal experiences of conflict in the Middle East.
The evening will comprise approximately 30-40 minutes of talk, with time afterwards when you can ask Sir Simon questions about his career and the Middle East. All very relaxed (feel free to bring refreshments!) – this promises to be a great evening!
*Details* . The invitation and joining details for the Zoom event will be emailed to you (on the email address linked to your PayPal) the day before the event. The waiting room will open at 7:15pm with the lecture beginning from 7:30 – to make things easier on the day, please make sure your Zoom name aligns to the name you use now to purchase – this will just make the admittance process quicker and easier!
Finally – tickets are non refundable except in an instance of lecture cancellation and you are purchasing entry for only one device. There are only a limited number of spaces available so the Zoom link should not be shared with anyone else – to this end we will have a list to admit you on the day.
Any queries or issues, please email Hannah Searle on admin@cardiffcastlemuseum.org.uk.
Most importantly, we are really excited about this new endeavour and are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible!
